We grew our locally designed solutions in line with what the market wanted to include landscaping design, plant training and gardening products, becoming Whites Thinking Outside. Then in 2022, we reimagined this brand and name, calling it Jack!
Jack is all about quality, locally-grown DIY products. Whatever you want to do in your outdoor space, it offers inspiration, advice and handy tips to help you get it done and make your garden beautiful, functional and fruitful!
Adding to this, our latest addition, Jack Matrix – the export arm of the business, provides beautiful, sustainable decor products to transform spaces.

With over 50 years of experience, Whites Rural and Murray continues to support farmers and fencing contractors with durable, Australian-designed solutions tailored to rural needs. From wire and posts to gates and fittings, Whites Rural stands by the people who shape the land.
Behind the scenes, we’ve been powering innovation and local Australian manufacturing through Murray Plastics, our specialist division producing recycled plastic sheets, components and products for a wide range of industries – with a focus on process efficiency and workplace safety.

Our retail consumer brand, Jack – previously Whites Thinking Outside – was launched in 2022 to support DIYers in Australia and New Zealand with strong, easy-to-use products and practical advice. From décor screens to plant protection, Jack offers affordable, stylish solutions to help customers create outdoor spaces with confidence.
Whites Rural is our specialist rural suppliers division. Offering a full range of high-quality products – from fence posts and wire to gates, tools, and accessories – it’s trusted by farmers and contractors across Australia. Its flagship Stockpost range, made from high-grade steel and backed by a lifetime guarantee, is built to endure tough Australian conditions.
Murray is renowned for delivering high-quality steel fencing products designed specifically to withstand the demanding conditions of Australian farms and rural properties. With a focus on strength, innovation and local production, products are manufactured in Albury, stand up to tough environments and contribute to rural growth.
Based in Albury, New South Wales, Murray Plastics specialises in premium recycled plastic sheeting made from 100% recycled HDPE. It produces durable, UV-stabilised sheets designed for a range of uses from agriculture and construction to marine and industrial applications. Pioneering new methods, it’s an innovator in this space.
Manufactured in Dandenong, Victoria, Jack Matrix offers an innovative, tough, stylish range of Australian-made decorative and functional products. It includes 40 + designs across decorative screens, lattice panels, wall art, garden edging, and ground panels. The hero charcoal range is crafted from 100% recycled materials.
